VIOLETTA EGOROVA

Violetta Egorova is a deeply committed, musical artist whose dedication to piano extends far beyond the instrument she plays. The Russian pianist has also established herself as a caring, effective Ambassador for preserving and honoring Russian classical music tradition.

 

Ms. Egorova was born in Krasnobar, Russia. She began to play piano at age four, and at age six made her TV debut performing music from R. Schumann’s “Album für die Jugend ”. She was accepted into the Moscow Central Music School for Gifted Children at age six, where she studied with Anna Artobolevsky and Alexander Mndoyants — giving her debut solo piano recital at age twelve.

 

Her early career was mentored by Lev Naumov, assistant & successor to Heinrich Neuhaus. Naumov, professor of piano at the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory was nicknamed “Godfather of the Russian Piano School”.

Under his instruction, Ms. Egorova developed an unrivaled piano technique & sensitive poetic expression in her music. While still studying under Professor L. N. Naymov at the P.Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Art and Electronics a joint Russian-American recording enterprise honored Ms. Egorovas talent by recording a CD with the music of Mozart and Prokofiev in celebration of the anniversary of those two composers birth. Furthermore, Ms. Egorova has recorded several CDs under the various labels, such as Universal Music & V., Teichiku Records, Onepoint.FM and has been featured on radio and television broadcasts in Italy, Turkey, Canada, Egypt, Ecuador, France, Italy, China and Russia in over 10 countries on 5 continents.

 

She has also appeared at important international musical festivals in Spoletto “Del Due Mondi” and Sermonette “Pontino di Musica”, «Noto Music», (Italy), “Sanat Haber” in Istanbul (Turkey), ETNAFEST in Italy, Rachmaninov International festival 2013 in Ukraine as well as “Music in Exile”, “Music of 20th Century”, “Christmas at the Kremlin” , “Russian Winter” in Moscow (Russia), «Russian Cultural days in Harbin», “Harbin music summer festival” among others.

 

Also, Violetta Egorova Laureate of numerous piano competitions –

the Alessandro Casagrande International Piano Competition, Terni, Italy, Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, Salt Lake City, USA, "Gian Battista Viotti" International Piano Competition in Vercelli, Italy and many others.

Ms Egorova is a regular guest artist with many renowned orchestras such as the State Academic Orchestra of Russia – Svetlanov orchestra; Utah Symphony Orchestra; the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin; Orchestra del Festival Pianistiñî Internazionale di Bergamo e Brescia; Orchestra Sinfonica di Perogia; The George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra; Cairo Symphony Orchestra; Moscow State Symphonic Orchestra, as well as the orchestra 'Young Russia', and has played under the direction of Pavel Kogan, Joseph Silverstain, Arnold Katz, Epifanio Comis, Mark Gorenstein, Juliano Silvery, Urij Tsuruk, Ilarion IonescuGalati, Augustino Orizio, Antonino Manuli, and Constantine Orbeljan.

She has performed in some of the very important concert halls in Monaco, Italy, France, United States, Switzerland, Turkey,

Austria, China, Japan & Russia.

 

V. Egorova's CD, ”The Russian Balllet – Piano Solo” got the nomination for ICMA 2015 – International Classical Music Award and this unique project with piano solo ballet music was performed with great success in many important concert halls of the World.

Ms. Egorovas pianistic repertoire encompasses a wide variety of eras and styles, from concertos and solo monographic works by Schubert, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, and Liszt to those by contemporary composers. Through her well-established relationship with Vladimir Markovich, Eva Gosser, Nina Kotova, Vladislav Bezrukoff, Robin Meyforf, Anna Kruger, Astrid Shvinn, Lark String Quartet, Quintet Sikelikos and other musicians, Ms. Egorova has also built a reputation as world-class chamber musician.

From 2011, Professor V. Egorova is a teacher of Piano High Specialization Courses at the Accademia Pianistica Siciliana and Rachmaninov Academy in Catania, Italy. Violetta Egorova gives Masterclasses in some important Festivals and Conservatories as Vienna International Music Academy Orpheus, Paris Conservatorire de Colombes, Rijeka Dino Ciani Festival, Harbin Russian Day Festival, Donetsk Rachmaninov Festival, Moscow and others.

 

Violetta Egorova is the President and founder of

the Sergei Rachmaninov International Award,

Artistic director of the International Festival Moscow ConcertFest,

the active member of the International Informatization Academy in general consultative status with the United Nation since 1995.
