SERGEY BELYVSKY

Born in Moscow to a family of musicians, Sergey Belyavskiybegan playing piano at age 5 and by the time he was nine, he was accepted to the finest music school in Russia - Central Music School under the Moscow State Conservatory. At eleven, he won his first international competition and at twelve performed his first recital. Since that his concert performances have spanned the international globe: Israel, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, San Marino, France, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, South Korea, Japan, China, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, Greece, Morocco, Australia.

He finished Central Music School in Moscow State Conservatory under Prof. Andrey Pisarev in 2011 and after he completed studies at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Prof. Eliso Virsaladze in 2016. In the academic year 2016-2017 Sergey studied with Prof. Arie Vardi at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Tel Aviv University. 

Currently Sergey is studying at the Kalaidos Musikhochschule in Switzerland in the class of Prof. Lev Natochenny

Since 2005, Sergey became a multi-prize winner of more than 20 competitions and festivals including :

2018 – Gina Bachauer International Artists Competition, Salt Lake City , USA 

Third Prize Bronze Medalist

 

2018 – 4th Asia-Pacific International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, Daegu, South Korea, Winner (no first awarded). Winner of 2 special prizes for best Polonaise and Sonata performances

2017 – Eurasian Music Games Festival and Competition, Astana, Kazakhstan, Laureate

2016 – Ferenc Liszt International Piano Competition,Budapest, Hungary. Second Prize and Audience Prize

2015 – “eMuse” Online Music Competition 2015, Athens, Greece, Grand Prize

2014 – Maria Canals International Piano Competition, Barcelona, Spain, Second Prize and Audience Prize

2013 – “International Piano Competition”, Almaty, Kazakhstan, Third Prize

Sergey has released three solo CDs, most recently of Chopin’s 24 Etudes.
