Rebecca Mattina was born in 2000 in San Cataldo, a small town in Sicily.
She started playing the piano at the age of 6 in a little Insitute of nuns. In 2011 she was admitted to a musical class in middle school, thanks to which she approached chamber and orchestra repertoire, joining several experiences in different ensembles.
During these years she has also won several local solo piano competitions. At the age of 12 she was admitted to the “Istituto Superiore degli Studi Musicali Vincenzo Bellini” in Caltanissetta, initially into the class of M° Magda Carbone, then under the guidance of M° Daniele Riggi.
She graduated in 2020 taking the “Diploma Accademico di I Livello in Pianoforte” and continues now to attend a two year academic course in Caltanissetta.
She attended master classes by Pietro De Maria, Benedetto Lupo and Andrea Lucchesini.
Currently she is also studying with Violetta Egorova at the Rachmaninov Academy.
